Built in 1896, our Town Hall is located between the Village of Hortonville and City of New London at the intersections of Givens Road and County Road T just off of County Highway 15. The address is W9702 Givens Rd, however, there is no mail drop at the Town Hall. All mail must go to PO Box 301, Hortonville WI 54944-0301.
Town officials do not hold regular office hours at the Town Hall. However, our officials avail themselves by appointment. If you call (or fax) the Town Hall, 920-779-9780, you will most likely get our voice mail. However, rest assured that messages are checked regularly and we will get back to you by the next business day if not sooner.
Voting will now be done at the Fire Hall at 700 West Nye Street (!! CLICK HERE !! for resolution changing polling place from Town Hall to Fire Hall). However, all meetings are held at the Town Hall. Town Board meetings are held monthly on the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm, unless posted otherwise. A meeting of Town Electors is held annually in April.
Complementing its rustic charm, our Town Hall has no air conditioning and no plumbing so please plan accordingly. Unfortunately, our outhouse was decommissioned in 2003. A creek flows next to the Town Hall, but that facility is only available to the local wildlife, so don't even think about it! Releasing untreated waste into the environment is against DNR and County regulations. If you are sighted, you may be cited.
Notices, agendas, minutes of meetings and other information are posted behind the glass of the front door of the Town Hall. Feel free to stop by and check them out. However, if you prefer to check them out from the comfort of your computer screen, you can find that same information (and much more) at this web site.
